Description
Pacific Academy is seeking a full-time Head of Student Support & Well-being to commence August 2024. As an integral member of the academic leadership team, the Head of Student Support & Well-being will coordinate inclusive education and student support services across the school.
The Head of Student Support & Well-being will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive, school-wide inclusive education program including learning support and counselling services.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must:
Hold a valid BC teaching certificate
Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education and to upholding Christian values.
Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith.
Have a passion for supporting students' holistic development
Possess a Master’s degree or equivalent
Have at least 5 years’ demonstrated leadership experience in a K-12 school setting
Have experience in K-12 school-based learning support and/or counselling
Broad teaching experience is highly valued
Be fluent in oral and written English
Have excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills
