Become a member of a fast-paced, energetic, and crucial team at VFS. You will be responsible for supporting our customers and dealers in all phases of the retail account management and account resolution process for VFS Trucks, Construction Equipment and Coach Portfolios. This role requires a high sense of urgency, organizational skills, energy and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with all areas of the business including sales, credit, repossession, remarketing, end-of-term, special assets, accounting, legal and capital market resources. In this on-site position, you will report to the Manager, Asset Management at our office in Aurora, Ontario.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Display a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism, listening carefully to customers' needs and displaying empathy to provide the best service possible, escalating issues to the next level of authority and taking initiative to assist others.
  • Consistently adhere to standards to provide accurate and timely identification of customer and dealer issues along with appropriate resolution including but not limited to payout quotes, audit balance confirmations, platting letters and account reconciliations/amortization schedules.
  • Be the point of contact lease assumption/loan takeover information gathering and document processing.
  • Administer insurance process including certificates status and compliance follow up.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure delinquent payment & insurance coverage irregularities return to a level of acceptable compliance as quickly as possible.
  • Determine the cause of default or delinquency and, negotiate arrangements through payments, modifications, or repossession when warranted.
  • Make discretionary decisions upon each account as to the likelihood of succeeding through the total obligation and assistance that will be needed through this process.

Who are you?

  • BA/BS in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Bilingual skills in French are considered an asset.
