The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As the Global Internal Expertise Delivery Manager with 3M’s Personal Safety Division (PSD) the leading supplier of safety and protection solutions, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading PSD’s portfolio of training solutions including digital eLearning, webinars, in-person training, and videos.

  • Collaborating closely with regional leaders, global training teams, portfolio and segment leaders and key stakeholders to develop and execute the strategic and operational priorities for digital training for internal customer-facing and channel audiences to accelerate global divisional growth.

  • Leading the channel side of PSD’s Worker Health and Safety Academy

  • Working with internal 3M technology and service teams to select appropriate learning management systems to meet the needs of our internal and channel audiences.

  • Researching and interpreting industry trends, competitor benchmarks, customer feedback, and business objectives to identify and recommend new digital training offerings. Implementing processes to prioritize global content development needs and roadmaps.

  • Lead activities with internal cross functional teams and external agencies to create, test and launch new digital training solutions for internal and external audiences

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Experience with B2B Training in a private, public, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • MBA or Master’s degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with an emphasis in business, strategy or marketing
  • 4+ years of work experience in the Personal Protective Equipment Industry
  • Experience working with learning management systems, content creation tools (e.g. Articulate and Adobe Creative Cloud) and training platforms like VR and AR
  • Marketing experience with strong capabilities in business operation, learning technologies and organizational leadership
  • Business and financial acumen

Location: Hybrid preferred (local to Maplewood, MN or Calgary AB Canada) but remote possible

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic and international travel

Relocation Assistance: not authorized
