A.W. Chesterton is a leading international manufacturer of industrial fluid sealing systems, high performance protective coatings and specialized industrial maintenance products is seeking a new Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician for its Montreal center.

As a Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician, you will work under the supervision of our Eastern Canada Service Center Director.

Your mandate will be, among other things:
  • Perform diverse shipping / receiving activities and maintain the inventory count.
  • Set up and operate simple machines, i.e. sandblasters and polishing tools.
  • Use various hand and power tools, i.e. drill press.
  • Perform simple in-process quality control functions based on established engineering standards.
  • Operate a CNC for cutting gaskets. (Training provided)
  • Perform simple production tasks, cut packing braids and assemble kits.
  • May carry out work tasks with instructions, if necessary.
  • Perform other manufacturing floor functions, i.e. Assemble skids and wooden crates.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
