The starting annual salary for this full-time School Teacher position ranges from $61,838 to $108,458, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Fraser Middle School is a vibrant Middle School community and the successful candidate will work with a teaching partner who teaches Math, Social Studies and Careers. You also have the opportunity to teach PHE with the teaching partner as pods join together for this block. The Grade 8 team also provides many opportunities to share and learn from each other within the team.

Education & Experience

  • Major/minor in Science & French
  • Experience teaching Science, Language Arts & French at the Middle level
  • Major practicum work teaching in French as a Second Language

  • Eligible for B.C. Certification
  • Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports
