Job Summary & Responsibilities
Abbotsford Middle School is a grade 6-8 International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program school with 690 students. IB training and experience is an asset, but not a requirement for the job. Our school goals are based on Literacy, Numeracy, Social-Emotional Learning, and Innovative Pedagogy.
The starting annual salary for this full-time Middle School Teacher position ranges from $61,838 to $108,458, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Education & Experience
Degree/Diploma in Technical Education with an emphasis in Woodworking
Experience teaching Woodwork at the Middle School level.
Eligible for B.C. Certification
Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports
