Reporting to the Director of Communications, the incumbent will have the opportunity to make the Port of Québec shine on various digital media (social media, website) and thus contribute to the development of its notoriety. He will have the opportunity to evolve in a team where creativity and collaboration are put forward in order to develop innovative and impactful communications strategies. The incumbent is responsible for the entire process and assumes all tasks and mandates related to the management of the digital community and the production of communication tools. The consellor ensures the quality of the content deployed, while maintaining consistency across the various platforms.

Responsabilities
  • Assume complete management of the Port of Quebec's social media, including writing content, distributing visuals, and managing engagement and interaction with the digital community;
  • Manage and develop content for the Port of Quebec's website and recreational tourism sites;
  • Analyze content and campaign performance on a daily basis, interpret Analytics reports, and adjust strategies accordingly;
  • Train and coach members of the organization in the effective and adapted use of our various social media, while encouraging them to use these tools to strengthen their participation;
  • Plan the content calendar and schedule publications based on the Port of Québec's social media approach;
  • Monitor social networks for trends and best practices;
  • Determine the visual production needs (photo, video, etc.) required for each publication, participate in the development of concepts and manage in-house visual banks;
  • Develop specific strategies for various events and produce publication concepts (Fête maritime familiale, Cabane à sucre du Port, various departmental projects, etc.);
  • Accompany the CEO and Port representatives on public outings and create content for resulting publications (photo/video shoots at press conferences, conference dinners, launch events, etc.);
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Port's social networking strategy, with a focus on organizational objectives, promoting Port activities and increasing awareness of the organization;
  • Participate in the organization of events in collaboration with the communications team for the digital communities component (Gold Apple Cane event, CEO conferences, Family Maritime Festival, press conferences, annual public meeting, opening of various recreation and tourism sites, shoreline clean-ups, etc.);
  • Work in collaboration with our internal and external partners to contribute to the development of content on our digital media.

Requested skills

- A bachelor degree in communications or a certificate in communications and social media or sa related field.
- Between three (3) and five (5) years of significant work experience in communications and digital communications.
