Under the supervision of the Communications Director, the advisor implements graphic elements related to QPA's public affairs and takes part in various strategic communications orientations. The incumbent has the opportunity to evolve in a collaborative and innovative environment, where his graphic skills are recognized and exploited. The incumbent also plays a key role in the Communications department in terms of graphic design, contributing to the success of the organization's other departments, while working closely with senior management*The Quebec Port Authority adheres to the principle of employment equity and applies an employment equity access program for women, Aboriginals, visible minorities and people with disabilities.The use of the masculine gender includes the feminine and is employed solely to facilitatereading.


Responsabilites
  • Produce visuals for strategic content put forward by the CEO, the HR VP or other members of the Executive Committee, for various stakeholders, including the Board of Directors;
  • Advise senior management and support other departments in their communications and promotional activities, to help achieve the organization's strategic objectives;
  • Create the organization's visual content for external publications (social media, advertising, power point presentations, web signatures, event invitations, newsletter, etc.);
  • Flagging of various QPA recreation and tourism sites (Oasis, La Cale, Agora, Baie de Beauport);
  • Signage throughout the port territory;
  • Apply graphic skills to the various visual needs of the communications team;
  • Create visuals for the Port's various corporate events;
  • Review and develop internal communications tools in line with the organization's brand image;
  • Ensure compliance with corporate graphic standards;
  • Collaborate in the preparation, verification and quality control of public documents;
  • Identify and propose opportunities to improve graphic communication;
  • Contribute to increasing engagement on various social media platforms;
  • Request quotes and follow up with printers and other suppliers;
  • Perform any other tasks related to graphic design as requested by the immediate superior.

  • Knowledge of new trends in graphic design;

  • Proficiency in the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator);
  • Proficiency in the M365 suite.
You are...
  • Autonomous with a sense of initiative;

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented;
  • Comfortable working in a multi-project environment.
Assets
  • Ability to edit short videos related to interviews or events;
