Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Team Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for directly managing the day-to-day activities of our development team, contributing to our product development processes, and overseeing the professional development of all members of our development team. You will be responsible for leading a diverse development team of various levels of seniority consisting of QA specialists, product design, fullstack web developers, and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central developers. As a Team Lead, you will coordinate all activities for each member of our development team across all products, including our internal tools, EAM/CMMS applications, and Business Central customizations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a significant impact on our products and our company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the development team.
- Delegate tasks, ensuring all members of the development team have sufficient workload.
- Set deadlines for all development tasks.
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
- Propose and implement improvements to our product development processes.
- Act as Scrum Master by planning sprints and animating daily scrums.
- Facilitate discussion between stakeholders for all development activities.
- Organize and facilitate product design meetings, specification review meetings, and any other discussions required as part of the SDLC.
- Coordinate product releases, ensuring all steps in the SDLC are respected.
- Ensure the creation of product release notes.
- Manage all internal development time entry, including:
- Timesheet approval.
- Reclassing of time, as appropriate.
- Job & Task structure.
- PTO approval.
- Participate in the recruitment process, running interviews for new development team candidates.
- Provide feedback to members of the development team and conduct performance reviews.
- Motivate and encourage team members.
- Discover training needs and provide coaching.
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
- Address and resolve conflicts quickly and effectively, maintaining a positive work atmosphere for all.
