As an HR Executive Consultant, Bilingual, you'll help strengthens the connection with clients through service and consultation. The role manages the strategic relationships with C-level client contacts; creating and executing an account strategy and effectively influencing the direction of current and future human capital needs within the client’s business.

To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable working with internal technical support, various production departments and additional ADP Service hubs as needed to identify a resolution. What you’ll do: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Act as a thought leader for the HR space and business development aspect of the organization.
  • Provides strategic HR advice to clients as a member of a team of HR professionals who are externally focused on driving business results for the HR value proposition and the HRO organization.
  • Understands the business vision, values, strategy and drivers, and creates productive partnerships to deliver sustainable HR solutions.
  • Work with sales partners, relationship managers and operations partners to develop, deliver and execute on the HR outsourcing value proposition.
  • Act as an escalation point for clients and adopts a proactive, consultative approach levering every client touchpoint as an opportunity to create value for the client by not just providing HR best practice information but also identifying and sharing information on HR Solutions products, features and capabilities that can help to address the client’s immediate HR needs as well as strategically support long terms needs.
  • Adheres to internal policies and procedures to minimize risk and liability to ADP. Must be able to transition between a wide variety of HR competencies quickly and proficiently.
  • Research information from multiple resources to provide best practice knowledge to external and internal clients. External client’s range in size, employees, and span a wide variety of industries and levels of HR experience.
  • Participates in assigned HR projects to increase HR knowledge and experience including but not limited to in depth HR research, development of HR training, development of product enhancements, and works with multiple levels of HR Solutions team to assist in resolving multiple complex HR issues for clients.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on products, issues, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as Team Lead, with the ability to allocate work

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; Master's Degree an asset.
  • Human Resources Designation: CHRP, CHRL, CPHR or equivalent experience is required
  • 8-12 years increased responsibility in a senior level HR professional Generalist/HRBP) and preferred work experience, within a large global organization
  • English/French Bilingualism is mandatory.

*Quebec candidates: While French is required for Quebec-based roles, use of the English language is also required due to the global nature of the business and the need to interact with ADP’s headquarters and international sites.

  • Strong business acumen to align both business objectives and HR strategies with corporate goals to maximize shareholder value.
  • Strong diagnostic skills followed by good ability to evaluate options/alternatives and develop recommendations for solutions to complex and multi-dimensional issues.
  • Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Developed consulting capabilities
  • Skillful in resolving conflicts quickly and with win-win solutions/outcomes
  • Solid negotiation and influencing abilities, coupled with strong project management skills.
  • Exposure to HR best practices; ER, Total Rewards, L&D, OD, OE and Change/Talent Management.
  • Adept at building and managing relationships effectively and be able to gain the confidence of business leaders quickly.
  • Tenacity, resourceful, flexible and adaptable.
  • Sound technical knowledge and experience as an HR Leader with proven track record of developing and delivering value-added HR solutions.
