Whats the Opportunity?
The Business Analyst, reporting to the Business Process Manager, is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing and proposed systems, and devising processes and procedures for solving business challenges. The successful candidate will be adept at supporting the business through changes associated with agreed upon solutions for highly complex projects.
What Youll Do Here:- Execute assignments based on project management best practices and methodologies (PMBOK).
- Facilitate business process reengineering workshops to streamline and improve business processes.
- Organize task mining initiatives and/or process walkthrough sessions to capture details of current process flows.
- Create new/improve existing documentation such as procedures, workflows, and user guides and recommend controls by identifying problems.
- Meticulously gather and document business requirements through user interviews, discussion and other means.
- Provide comprehensive support for automation developers by clarifying automation requirements, facilitating the creation of necessary environments and permission configurations, and managing context menus.
- Apply sound analysis and logical reasoning to evaluate ideas, decisions, and outcomes.
- Present findings in a clear, and visually engaging format for stakeholders.
- Create and manage a tracker for UAT-related defects, coordinate retesting as needed, participate in daily/weekly UAT test status meetings and provide necessary updates.
- Obtain signoff from stakeholders after completion of successful testing.
- Engage appropriate teams throughout project to ensure adherence to technical standards and provide recommendations on the practical application of technology.
- Create end user process and solution documentation for purposes of testing, and training.
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
- Assist with various operational issues, including troubleshooting production support issues, as well as gathering and documenting change request details.
- CBAP certification.
- RPA Technology experience required.
- 2-4 years or more in a Business Analyst role.
- Construction industry experience is an asset.
- Functional experience in one or more SAP modules.
- Experience in business process analysis.
- Experience in testing, documentation, user training, or project management related to the application development life cycle.
- Process engineering; understanding current situation and recommending future state processes.
