ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project the largest project in Metrolinxs GO Rail Expansion program. Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Region.

What is the Opportunity?

ONxpress Civil Contractors Joint Venture (CJV) is looking for a Design Coordinator (Wet/Dry utilities). This position is based out of our downtown Toronto office.

What youll do here:

• Coordinate with utility companies for design reviews
• Help to ensure that designs are provided on schedule from the designer
• Ensure that any easements/permits are obtained prior to construction
• Assist in constructability reviews
• Ensure that utility conflict matrices are up to date

What You Bring to the Team:

• Post secondary education in Civil Engineering or Civil discipline or Equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in working with utility companies
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills.
• Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task/ Service orientated.
• Computer literacy(AutoCAD/Microsoft office tools/BIM software).
