What is the Opportunity?
Aecon is well-positioned in the Canadian marketplace as an industry leader in the development and construction of infrastructure. We have a roster of ongoing major projects here and abroad, record backlog diversified across multiple sectors and duration, and a robust pipeline of future project pursuits. We are in a strong market position, but we are ultimately aiming higher. This position will require for the successful candidate to work full time at the Toronto Head Office location.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Perform full day to day administration for all corporate credit card programs
    • Manage corporate credit card mailbox
    • Issue and cancel employee credit cards as requested
    • Adjust credit card limits according to company policy
    • Assist with employee inquiries related to their corporate cards
  • Perform full day to day administration for non-Concur employee expenses
    • Manage Expenses Mailbox
    • Process manual expense claims in SAP timely as requested
    • Assist with employee inquiries related to non-Concur expenses
  • Provide administrative support to Shared Services leadership team
    • Assist with internal and external audit
    • Assist with maintaining user guides and forms
    • Assist with performing expense audits as required
    • Assist with day to day administration for Concur
    • Assist with reporting as required
    • Act as back-up support when required

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • 1 2 years of accounting experience preferably in a high-volume environment in the construction industry
  • SAP and Concur experience an asset
  • Demonstrated computer software proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel skills would be a strong asset
  • Strong organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines, prioritize and execute multiple tasks, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to manage increased volume of work at month-end
  • Desire to take ownership of tasks assigned and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical skills
