Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician will ensure the general upkeep of the buildings and provide customer service to tenants.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the main responsibilities are:

  • Respond to customer service calls;

  • Perform various routine maintenance tasks;

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks to keep the buildings’ common areas, both interior and exterior, clean at all times (including but not limited to snow removal, garbage and graffiti removal, window and floor cleaning, landscaping, etc.);

  • Ensure the proper functioning of building equipment and immediately report any malfunctions and/or incidents (ventilation, elevators, toilets, etc.);

  • Be mindful of the buildings’ energy performance;

  • All other related tasks.

SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS

  • Flexible, weekday daytime (Between 6:00 AM & 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM)

  • 40 hours per week

  • 3 weeks of vacation;

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;

  • Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written;

  • Valid driver’s license (essential);

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies in building maintenance (an asset).
