Reporting to the Area Manager, the Administrative Support III position is responsible for carrying out clerical and administrative tasks to support the Athabasca Addiction and Mental Health Clinic. Your main duties may involve scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, completing patient registrations, processing referrals, and validating and inputting data in the EMR. Additionally, you may assist with generating reports and various documents and correspondence, as well as helping with a variety of general clerical activities to support operations. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to embrace change. Must be motivated, selfdirected, and able to prioritize competing tasks. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Knowledge of Microsoft programs. Basic knowledge of e-people, Oracle, and Connect Care.
