You will recognize activities that may result in harm and respond by communicating clearly and effectively with the patient using a 2-way audio device. If the patient needs immediate help, you will activate an alarm and provide concise information to the nurse. You are responsible for creating accurate and detailed records of observations, patient interactions and events in the electronic health record. The ability to complete equipment safety checks and basic equipment troubleshooting is also required. In addition to monitoring patients, you will act as a liaison between departments and be the first point of contact for customer service issues.
