Description
Reporting to Safe Healthy Environments’ Specialized Operations Director, we seek the right candidate for this provincially focused administrative support role. Working collaboratively with diverse and complex teams, the right person will be flexible in their approach and have an adaptable skillset with a demonstrable understanding of data architecture and transforming data into information. Responsibilities include assessing and assuring data quality aspects of Safe Healthy Environments data management systems and contributing to developing and implementing best practices to ensure data quality. A portion of the role will include supplementing the operational leadership and support for the SHE Contact Centre. This call center handles SHE-related service requests and complaints from across the province. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish priorities and will be able to proactively identify problems and initiate resolutions independently and as part of a team. The right person must have a robust data and information management background and be comfortable using Microsoft 365. Although provincial in scope, the role requires regular onsite attendance. Please note that a reasonable practical assessment of expected competencies may be part of the interview process.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Some post-secondary education.
One year of direct experience with the Environmental Public Health Information System. One year of direct experience with Genesys Cloud. One year of experience with a regulatory agency that works within a legislative framework for education and legislation enforcement. Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Strong conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational & prioritization skills. Ability to work well independently and as a team member. Self-directed and self-motivated. Able to work at a fast pace. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Exceptional time management skills.
Two years of direct experience with the Environmental Public Health Information System. Two years of direct experience with Genesys Cloud. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a benefit.
