The casual Administrative Support IV (Admin Support IV) position is responsible for daily administrative operations for Clinical Psychology Services (CPS), Recovery Alberta, Mental Health and Addiction Services. This position provides administrative support to the team comprised of psychologists and psychometrists and the Care Manager. CPS offers a range of clinical psychological assessment and treatment services within the Edmonton Zone. The Admin Support IV supports the health providers with scheduling and managing client health information entered the Connect Care electronic medical record (EMR). The position requires strict adherence and sensitivity to confidentiality. The Admin Support IV is often the first point of contact at the clinic so fostering positive relationships and public relations with internal referral sources and community members is essential. The Admin IV plays a key role on the team by assisting in the management of referrals and by welcoming clients who receive treatment at CPS. Other duties include payroll and human resource support, invoice management, data collection and generating activity reports using the EMR, office supply and site management, scheduling appointments, creating/editing communication, scanning, photocopying, booking meetings and other related tasks. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Excellent computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Teams and SharePoint Online; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of confidential clinical information. Must have working knowledge of privacy legislation (HIA and FOIP) and the Mental Health Act. Attention to detail and professional, courteous, prompt customer service. Must have excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Must have the ability to organize and prioritize. Must be flexible and able to meet the demands of changes in work assignments. Must have proficient use of the English language oral and written.

Previous experience working in mental health and substance use services.
