As a pivotal member of our Oncology team, you will collaborate closely to provide crucial support to our dedicated Oncology Team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of our cancer center, undertaking a wide range of administrative responsibilities. This role is integral to delivering comprehensive care and offering essential support across numerous processes critical to the facilitation of our clinical operations. As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced skills and knowledge to provide support to complex procedures, practices and initiatives within both Radiation and Systemic Therapy Departments. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office environment, with a strong preference for Oncology experience, coupled with the successful completion of a medical terminology course. Demonstrating the ability to cultivate positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, the incumbent will serve as a valuable liaison on behalf of our Clinicians and Operational staff. Success in this dynamic role requires superior oral and written communication skills, coupled with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, all reinforced by a commitment to quality patient care and collaborative teamwork. The position demands exceptional organizational and decision-making skills, with the versatility to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Initiative-taking is a must, along with a keen attention to detail in handling diverse assignments. The successful candidate will showcase adaptability in managing workflow, exercising discretion, and prioritizing tasks in a sensitive, confidential, and timely manner. Must meet the physical demands of the job, which may include sitting for extended periods, lifting supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs., using repetitive motions such as lifting, bending, walking, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods, is crucial to fulfilling the responsibilities of this role effectively.
