Description
Working with minimal guidance and direction, the Nutrition Services Administrative Support IV reports directly to the Nutrition Services Manager for Population Public Health, Home Care, and Supportive Living. As an Administrative Support IV you will carry out administrative activities in support of our department/programs, the immediate teams and/or other stakeholders and ensure effective and efficient coordination of activities and communication. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following functions: completing assigned projects, responding to communications, preparing a variety of correspondence and documents, managing calendars, distribution lists, contact lists, scheduling meetings, completing meeting minutes, assisting with recruitment and other human resource functions , entering data and creating reports/summaries to support quality improvement/evaluation of services and financial management, recording and forwarding information for invoicing and billing, and other related duties as required. The incumbent is required to provide a high standard of interpersonal communication and must demonstrate confidentiality, flexibility and initiative. You will work collaboratively with other administrative staff in Nutrition Services. Demands of this position are extensive due to volume of workload and complexity of work. This position is based out of Southport.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Some post-secondary education.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Epeople, and RMS. At least 2-years related office experience.
Demonstrated organization skills performed in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated excellent telephone, oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, make independent decisions and display flexibility to respond to changing needs with minimal supervision.
