Description
The Occupational Injury Admin in the Workplace Health & Safety department is a professional position reporting to the Occupational Injury Team Manager. This position specializes in administrative tasks which are specific and technical in nature, which supports the front-end work for the Occupational Injury Team. The OI Admin position will be cross trained to support other day to day admin work responsibilities and provide necessary coverage as needed. Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and time management skills are essential. Along with the ability to work well in a demanding environment, and an ability to shift focus as needed. Skilled at preparing various types of correspondence in a timely and accurate manner. An understanding of WCB processes would be an asset.

Knowledge of medical terminology. A minimum of a degree/diploma/certificate in Business Administration or related discipline from a recognized Post -Secondary Institution. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
As Required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety setting in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred (health experience an asset). A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Experience working in a unionized work environment would be an asset. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
