Description
We are seeking a Middleware IT Analyst II to join our support team. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare professional that loves technology and the improvement it can bring to healthcare delivery. We are looking for someone with the right mindset and attitude-a team player who is adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn. As an IT Analyst II, you will play a critical role in integrated medical device systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge healthcare technology and contribute to improving patient care through robust IT solutions. As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.
Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Strong communication skills required so can communicate with stakeholders. Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Business, or Health-Related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education with experience bridging business, IT, clinical, and clinical support services, across the breadth and depth of a large healthcare organization. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
One of the following: IT Experience within healthcare, experience as a Biomedical Technologist with IT knowledge, clinical experience in critical care/OR/ER/cardiology (e.g. Nursing or Respiratory Therapy) with IT knowledge, or experience working for a medical device vendor. Epic Certification is a plus.
