Respiratory Therapist I

This is a multisite position covering Hanna Health Centre and Three Hills Health Centre with Drumheller Health Centre as your home site. Drumheller is a town within the Red Deer River valley. In the heart of the Canadian Badlands, the Drumheller Valley offers spectacular unique scenery and fascinating experiences. Within easy driving distance of Banff, Calgary, and Red Deer; Drumheller offers a world of startling contrasts as rolling fields suddenly give way to steep, dry coulees ridged with the strata of hundreds of years of erosion by time, wind and water.

As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients (clients, resident), develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress. You will be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. You will collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments.

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Completed and up to date BLS.
