An exciting opportunity exists in St. Paul, Alberta! St. Paul is located approximately 200 km northeast of Edmonton. The area is home to approximately 6000 people. St. Paul is along the southern leg of the Iron Horse Trail - 300 km of former railroad that has been adapted for hiking, biking, horseback riding, quadding, or snowmobiling. If trails aren't for you, they also offer both indoor and outdoor ice rinks, a curling rink, a riding barn and fair grounds, tennis courts, golf course, ball diamonds and soccer fields. Camping, fishing and other lake activities are in abundance as there are many, many beautiful lakes surrounding our town. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Minimum 1-2 years experience in Mental Health and able to work in a complex, fast-paced environment, managing high acuity, and high-risk presentations. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
