Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator, Energy Systems coordinates and monitors existing mechanical and electrical building systems, develops preventative maintenance and energy management strategies, assists with implementation of various capital, renewal, and energy management projects, and prepares reports, logs, catalogues, and presentations.
What you bring to the team:
Completion of post-secondary education in energy systems engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology studies
Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in facility operations and construction coordination with a focus on building systems preferred;
Through knowledge of and experience with BAS and HVAC systems;
Good knowledge of applicable legislation such as ASHRAE, OESC, OBC, OFC, OHSA, Municipal By-laws, etc;
Strong computer skills are essential and knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, SFIS, VFA, eBASE, UCD would be an asset;
Ability to function independently with minimal direction;
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills;
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle in order to travel and provide service throughout the district;
