Description
The credit officer's main responsibilities are to support the company in the analysis of financing files. He or she must evaluate credit applications, gather the necessary information from customers' files, and inform them of the terms and conditions of financing offered by the company.
Duties and responsibilities- Analyze financing applications (creditworthiness, account holder, bank statement, etc.).
- Check the content of funding applications (missing documents/information).
- Verify the authenticity of information provided by customers using specialized computer software.
- Gather information required for the file by communicating with the customer by telephone and e-mail.
- Entering information on the balance sheet
- Decision-making on demand
- Follow up on pending customer files.
- Leave all notes on file to facilitate the work of colleagues.
- Make sure your application is complete and compliant before filing.
- Ensure impeccable customer service.
- Encourage customers to continue with their application when they want to cancel by negotiating terms or finding solutions for customers.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or related to the position.
- Diploma of Collegial Studies.
- One year's experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an SME (asset).
- Ability to multi-task.
