The Opportunity

The Director, Growth and Brand Marketing is a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth trajectory through strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness and understanding, market penetration, and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic vision, insight driven decision making, analytical prowess, creativity, and strong leadership skills to lead our marketing team towards achieving ambitious occupancy targets. You will be joining a dedicated Marketing and Communications team who are passionate about our brand, our properties, our residents and their families.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Leverage trend, customer, and market insight to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to drive growth and increase brand awareness for existing and new residences.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and occupancy goals.
  2. Brand Development:
    • Manage and protect the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
    • Drive brand storytelling and messaging which resonates with our target audiences.
    • Oversee the development of campaigns, events, creative assets, and marketing collateral that reinforce our brand positioning.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders and partners to evolve the brand identity to ensure it is always compelling and relevant.
  3. Customer Acquisition:
    • Lead customer acquisition efforts across marketing channels by developing campaigns and tactics to grow awareness and generate qualified leads.
    • Implement data-driven strategies to differentiate and optimize leads in cluster markets.
    • Seek and create innovative channels and opportunities to generate leads and grow brand awareness.
  4. Performance Measurement:
    • Analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
    • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and monitor performance against these metrics to drive continuous improvement.
    • Encourage professional development and skill enhancement amongst team members.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely and collaborate with regional and residence level sales leaders, life enrichment, culinary, and care teams to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and Amica’s service offerings.
    • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Work with internal clients to support their marketing/brand needs, including Amica’s talent acquisition team to enhance recruitment marketing and employment branding.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, with at least 8+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, including traditional channels, social media, content marketing, event marketing, and experiential marketing/brand activation.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in using data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Strong creative eye and ability to ideate to both conceptualize and bring to life marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience in B2C marketing; recruitment marketing and industry or heath care experience is ideal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment that is performance driven.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strives for both mastery and excellence
