Aon Choice Consultant - Health Solutions Practice- 12 month Contract

This is a virtual role with the flexibility to work anywhere in Canada on a one-year contract.

What the day will look like
  • Own Relationship management for Aon Choice clients
  • Oversee the delivery of benefits administration for multiple clients, working internally with Implementation and ongoing Operational teams
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc client service questions, working with carriers and other business units to resolve and support clients
  • Drafting client ready reports and correspondence
  • Lead and/or attend client meetings as required
  • Support new client implementations, developing the client relationship and providing industry expertise/guidance as required
  • Lead small projects for existing clients
  • Share knowledge across the organization to enhance Aon’s ability to excel in plan prevalence and carrier product understanding;
  • Mentor, coach and train others within our team;
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams with colleagues, clients, client teams and carriers;
  • Increase efficiency by identifying way to improve standardized processes to contribute to client deliverables;
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends and emerging technology, while having a thorough understanding of how this relates to increasing value to clients;
  • Participate in team projects and activities which drive innovation, improved client value and business results
How this opportunity is different

As an Aon Choice Consultant in our Health Solutions team, you will be leading client teams with respect to the delivery of their group benefits administration and total rewards delivery. Working with a team of analysts and senior team members you will be involved in managing the client relationship as well as a variety of deliverables including but not limited to HRIS, Payroll, Insurer and premium reporting.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Five (5) plus years of direct group benefits experience in a contracts and client onboarding environment is required;
  • Proven organization skills and the ability to effectively lead and coordinate the delivery of projects;
  • Strong technical expertise and the proven ability to remain current with respect to industry trends, provincial and federal legislative policies and changes;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Bilingual (English, French) abilities would be considered an asset;
  • Ability to provide technical expertise and act as an effective mentor and coach and role model for practice members;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure;
  • University or College graduate in Financial Services, or related discipline, or equivalent years of industry experience; and Completed Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) would be an asset;
