In full expansion, we are looking for a full-time financial controller to fill our team.. Job Description:. The Financial Controller is responsible for the planning, management and daily control of all financial activities. Directs and maintains the accounting and financial integrity of the organization through various processes, including the production of accurate financial reports, the maintenance of the review of accounting records, the forecasting of financial results, Communication of key performance indicators to operations and proper maintenance of accounting systems and functions.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare weekly and monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual operational plan and strategic planning;
-Manage and analyze capital investment projects and forecast budget requirements;.
-Lead plant cost savings initiatives and ensure budgeted results are achieved;.
-Search and reconcile general ledger accounts;-Responsible for internal controls for operations and finance;
-Close and report the financial period monthly;.
-Guide and direct accounts payable, off-inventory purchases, cyclical inventories, labour and production reporting and department day-to-day functions;.
-Ensure nomenclature and costs accurately reflect production operations;
-Track productivity and labour costs, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, returns and inventory levels;
-Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
-Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Education, training and experience:
-More than five (5) years of experience in accounting or related field and preferably in manufacturing;
-BA in Accounting, Finance or related field required;
-Discipline MBA and/or CPA preferred;
-Excellent spoken and written French (great English asset)
-Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in GAAP;
-Must master the Office suite at an expert level.
Working conditions:
-Minimal travel required;
