The Team
The Client Services team is a collaborative and established group of 15 staff members who work closely with other Information Services Branch (ISB) teams and ministry program areas. This team plays a key role in ensuring services meet client needs and values openness and teamwork. We foster a supportive environment with regular opportunities to connect, including a monthly breakfast meeting for team members based in Victoria.
The Role
As the Business Analyst, you will provide technology planning, business analysis, and daily client support while managing multiple medium-sized projects from start to finish. Your work will have a direct impact on a diverse range of legal services, including support for courts, legal aid, human rights, and government legal advice. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Degree or higher in the computer science field or a related field. An equivalent combination of IM/IT related education and working experience may be considered.
- Minimum two (2) years experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
- Minimum two (2) years experience with the installation, configuration, maintenance and problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems and network components.
- Minimum two (2) years experience developing and maintaining client communication and/or managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Minimum two (2) years experience developing documentation for a variety of audiences and usages, including business requirements, data flow diagrams and project artefacts for the branch, clients, and project stakeholders.
Preference may be given to applicants:
- Additional years of experience in the required areas listed above.
- Experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes in a Microsoft environment.
