Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Resource Manager to support the Tax Service Line. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-driven individual, who will work closely with Managers and Partners to best deploy our resources.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Manage and allocate resources within the Tax Department to maximize productivity and meet project demands.

  • Implement and refine strategies for resource management and workflow optimization.

  • Collaborate with tax teams, project managers, and department heads to identify appropriate resource requirements

  • The ability to understand resource requirements and allocate capabilities accordingly

  • Maintain and oversee a centralized system for tracking and managing tax resources, including staff availability, skill sets, and workload.

  • Works with partners to ensure resources are leveraged in a profitable manner

  • Identify opportunities where underutilized resources can be leveraged in other areas based on the resource’s skills

  • Identify potential resourcing or process issues and present to leadership resolutions to such issues where applicable

  • Provide insights and reports on resource utilization and productivity to upper management, aiding in decision-making.

  • Support the Tax Department's compliance with internal policies and industry regulations related to resource management.

Your experience and education

  • 3-5 years resource management experience, preferably within a tax or financial services environment

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

  • Proficient in resource management software and tools, with a keen eye for process improvements and innovation.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills

  • Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form

  • Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to drive business forward or obtain results

  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups

  • Proven success in managing multiple and fast-moving projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication written and oral skills in French and English
