Senior Technical Support

Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Manager, Information Technology.

Job Summary:

The Technical Support position plays an integral role in the proper maintenance, deployment, and procurement of Birchwood Automotive Group hardware and related items. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day hardware and software installation and support to Birchwood automotive facilities regarding PCs, laptops, printers, and other technologies. The Technical Support will investigate and address IT/System issues for all Birchwood Business Units in multiple locations. In addition, this role is also responsible for management of various enterprise applications.

Qualifications:

• Completed post-secondary education in IT, or a related field

• Experience and understanding of current Microsoft productivity tools/Operating Systems

• Experience troubleshooting printing and networking issues including wireless technologies

• Positive attitude with a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a common-sense approach

• Exhibit a strong understanding of networking principles

• Proven ability to manage workload under time-sensitive deadlines

• Comfortable leveraging technology for most day-to-day functions

• Valid driver's license, clean driver abstract and own transportation to work is required
