Editorial Managing Director at BlackBerry
Are you a seasoned editorial leader with a passion for storytelling and content creation? Join BlackBerry as the Editorial Managing Director, where you'll leverage your journalistic expertise to emphasize BlackBerry's leadership in Secure Communications. You'll oversee blog and social media production, collaborate with top talent, and shape BlackBerry's voice and brand perception.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership for BlackBerry's Secure Communications blog and social channels, aligning with business and marketing objectives. Establish BlackBerry as a thought leader by producing insightful content on Operational Resiliency and Protected Critical Communications.
- Content Development: Create and refine written and visual content tailored to government, critical infrastructure, and other key audiences, showcasing BlackBerry's expertise. Manage the entire content creation process, ensuring high standards of quality, relevance & production efficiency.
- Content Delivery: Develop strategies to deliver and promote content across social media & other digital channels to increase audience engagement and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Build relationships with internal and external partners, including Product Marketing, Creative, PR, and Customer Advocacy, to produce content, communicate project statuses, resolve issues and meet deadlines set by the editorial calendar.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance across all delivery channels to continuously improve and optimize.
Who We're Looking For:
- 8+ years in an editorial role within corporate communications in technology or engineering sector, with a BS/BA, or 6+ years with an MS/MA in Journalism or Communications.
- Proven experience writing for B2B and B2G audiences. Expert command of AP style and technical content creation. Able to provide a strong, unbiased editorial voice.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using content creation and digital media platforms including social, to develop, deliver and promote content.
- Experience using AI in the content creation process.
- A strong propensity to take initiative, thrive on change and a willingness to learn.
