Job Description

Join Bank of Montreal’s North American Treasury & Payment Solutions (TPS) team and help drive the optimization and digitization of our receivables capabilities. We are seeking a product manager to join a dynamic team of product professionals, dedicated to fostering an empowering team environment and serving our clients’ needs within a diverse product suite. The successful candidate is passionate about delivering the best client experience through the management and innovation of products, platforms, and multi-channel integration.

Product Management Key Accountabilities:

Product Development - design, manage, and enhance products throughout the product lifecycle with the ability to identify and analyze client/stakeholder needs and user testing related feedback. Product Financials - managing product P&L’s by analyzing financials, maintaining, and enhancing periodic product dashboards, as well as presenting the product financial progress on a routine basis. Product Strategy and Roadmap Planning - collaborating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, staying current on industry trends, and executing on the product strategy and providing thought-leadership in the industry. Product Marketing - creation and maintenance of informative product documents to support internal and external training and servicing. Product Operations - partnering with internal and external stakeholder to identify opportunities for improving the client experience or simplifying product processes. Risk Management - participation in risk assessments, routine reviews of product procedures to ensure regulatory and risk adherence and ownership of remediation.

  • Effective presentation and written communication skills, and collaborative relationship building skills across teammates, partners, vendors, and clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years relevant experience in treasury/cash/payments
  • Post-secondary education (i.e., degree, courses, certifications, etc.) or equivalent armed forces/military experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. Cash and Checks/Cheques commercial products
  • Project management and/or change management experience

Salary:

$68,000.00 - $126,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
