THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Strategy Marketing Manager, the Fashion Product Strategy Coordinator will work jointly with the Marketing Content Strategy department and the photo studio to ensure the transmission of key information regarding our products. In conjunction with the entire marketing department, he/she will coordinate requests for photos, samples and, if necessary, propose concepts to complete the deployment of marketing launches and strategies. The coordinator is responsible for providing the necessary details and directives to the teams to showcase the product.

As a retailer of lingerie, swimwear and sleepwear, la Vie en Rose creates all photo content from the Montreal head office. This requires careful management of clothing samples and collections, in addition to increased knowledge of product categories and how they are designed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop, over time, a solid knowledge of La Vie en Rose products and their particularities (bra and panty models, types of swimsuits and categories of pajamas and loungewear);
  • Act as a reference to the marketing team to answer questions and provide information regarding the products.
  • Take part in the development and presentations of marketing strategies (at least 6 times per year) by providing and communicating relevant product information.
  • Create and update preparation documents for e-commerce, creative and campaign photo shoots by giving appropriate directives requested by the Marketing Director to allow the Visual Presentation and Marketing and Digital Strategy teams to execute their strategies;
  • Give detailed instructions to the Photo Studio team on the unique way of photographing certain products in consultation with our purchasing teams.
  • Conduct research to suggest ways to photograph e-commerce products to highlight their attributes.
  • Anticipate the needs of upcoming photo shoots while respecting strategies and deadlines.
  • Plan and coordinate the production and distribution of La Vie en Rose collection books.
  • Coordinate projects to update product knowledge reference files and documents in conjunction with the team.
  • Evaluate product photos and compare them to campaign photos to determine if color touch-ups are necessary.
  • Anticipate problems with the representation of products in photos before they end up online.
  • Ensure that sample receipt follow-ups and catalog updating are done adequately by the sample management assistant.
  • Ensure that the organization of products by season is maintained clearly (seasons, available sizes and seasonal rotations) by the assistant.
  • Coordinate all other projects relating to the marketing of products from our different brands (Bikini Village, Newex and la Vie en rose).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Studies in fashion marketing or related field (an asset).
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • French and English spoken and written (The person will have to speak with external suppliers and consultants).
  • Interest and knowledge of fashion and trends.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and resourcefulness.
  • Meticulousness, attention to detail and very good organizational skills.
  • Natural ability for communications.
  • Be comfortable in cyclical work whose sequence is repeated every month.
  • Have a good team spirit.
  • Ability to work on several projects at the same time and in an environment where many unforeseen events and changes occur.
