Responsibilities

  • Perform sample preparation and analysis in development and quality control;
  • Setup, maintenance and execution of experiments on a variety of analytical equipment;
  • Assist and communicate analysis results to the team;
  • Assist R&D and production teams;
  • Responsible for general laboratory equipment;
  • Contribute to the shipping process;
  • Any other related tasks.

Requested skills

Desired profile

 

  • Collegial in analytical chemistry (or related field);
  • At least one (1) year of relevant laboratory experience;
  • Knowledge of the different types of liquid chromatography (HPLC, SEC), knowledge of spectroscopy is an asset;
  • Mechanical and electronic skills would be considered an asset for repairing broken equipment;
  • Ability to work according to the Good Laboratory Practices and maintain a high standard of scientific rigor;
  • High concern for health and safety at work;
  • Autonomous, meticulous, rigorous, methodical;  
  • Interested in teamwork and continuous improvement; 
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French and English;
