Assembly Supervisor

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor who’ll report to the Assembly Manager to help us support production. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be at the forefront of BRP’s assembly line optimization efforts.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

  • Regularly communicate and explain the task and expectations to your team members to meet established performance objectives in terms of occupational health and safety, quality, productivity, employee development and cost management, as well as keeping management informed of any critical issues.
  • Act as a role model and coach by promoting teamwork, innovation, development and the autonomy of work teams in a healthy and communicative environment.
  • Foster good labour relations in collaboration with the Human Resources team and Labour Relations Committee, and ensure the application of policies.
  • Mentor and support a committed team that is involved in continuous improvement and waste elimination, consulting with the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
  • Analyze and identify the causes of and provide solutions for non-conformities and health and safety risks while mobilizing your team to search for innovative and sustainable solutions.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Any Collegial level of education
  • An excellent communicator and team player.
  • Good influencing and leadership skills.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to solve production issues.
  • The ability to delegate and develop your team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in partnership (Human Resources/Labour Relations Committee/Management).
  • Good organizational skills, good priority management and a sense of initiative.
  • The ability to communicate in French, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in SAP software, Office Suite and Google Suite. (Atout)
