This role is designed to be part of the newly defined CoE for product management, engineering, eesign and industrial engineering at BRP. This group consists of functional and technical experts across multiple application portfolios, who will provide support, continuous improvement and project delivery to enable the organization to maximize the investments in its new and existing solutions and achieve its goals and future growth objectives. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Elicit, analyze, and document the business objectives (the “Why”), business requirements (the "What"), solution (functional and non-functional) and transition requirements (detailed requirements, the “How”). This will define the scope of the initiative and its key features.
- Manage requirements: prioritize, categorize, maintain, trace them until go-live.
- Be the link between the business stakeholders and the initiative one team (architects, development team, etc.) in regard to the scope and key features.
- Facilitate collaboration, share information, organize and lead workshops related to the scope of the initiative.
- Contribute to program/project planning activities.
- Understand the solution architecture, existing & target, reviews Solution Architecture Document.
- Understand business processes, existing and target.
- Ensure the solutions (business, high level solutions, system specifications) satisfy the requirements and key features.
- Identify, manage and address the gaps between the requirements and solution being delivered until they are resolved.
- Support the IS testing / integration test scenarios definition and support the team during their execution.
- Document the UAT test strategy, actively assist the business in the definition of UAT scenarios, and support the business during the execution of UAT.
- Contribute to the change management strategy, planning activities, risk assessment of the projects.
- Contribute to the business handover and post-implementation support (operationalization).
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject areas.
- 5+ years' experience in Business analyst role and full life-cycle application implementation.
- You have a deep level of understanding of PLM processes.
- Experience working with third-party applications integration.
- Understanding of Security, compliance and GDPR is an asset.
- Understanding of IS&T operational processes is an asset.
- Business knowledge and process design skills for manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a positive demeanour and a go getter attitude.
- Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.
- Strong organizational skills as well as strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- You’re able to work in French and English (written and oral).
