Calibration Technician

We are looking for an Engine Calibration Technician who will report to the calibration service manager. The technician will be responsible for developing the powertrain calibration for recreational products. In this role, you will play a significant part in the development of products to meet customer expectations. You'll be at the forefront of a broad range of technical innovations related to engine control.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

 

  • Contribute to the development of four-stroke powertrain calibration projects and support our product development activities.

  • Optimize engine control unit (ECU) calibration strategies to meet product requirements.

  • Participate in and lead engine optimization trials on a dynamometer and in the vehicle.

  • Become familiar with the different processes and tools used in your work environment.

  • Collaborate in the development of engine control unit (ECU) software and powertrain architecture.

  • Be responsible for the instrumentation of prototypes and the quality of associated measurement data.

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

 

  • A diploma of college studies (DCS) in mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or robotics.

  • Knowledge of the functioning of engines and their transmission.

  • Knowledge of general concepts in physics, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electricity.

  • A dynamic individual, motivated by technical challenges and passionate about recreational products.

  • Experience in product instrumentation, test execution, and data analysis.

  • Functional bilingualism in French and English. Knowledge of English is a must, as the candidate will be interacting on a weekly basis with internal and external international stakeholders. 

  • Ideally, relevant work experience in engine development or mechatronic systems.
