We are a growing company looking for a highly motivated Data Solutions Architect to lead the development of our data solutions platform. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Develop and maintain data architecture and roadmaps for our data solutions platform.
- Work closely with domain leads to understand business requirements, translate them into effective data solutions, and lead the integration of new data sources into the platform ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Design, develop and maintain data modeling guidelines, working closely with business analysts, data governance team, data architects and data engineers to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that meet industry standards and laws such as GDPR and SOX.
- Lead the integration of new data sources into the platform and ensure the quality and accuracy of the data.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the platform architecture, from source data capture to the presentation layer, ensuring effective integration with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure the effective integration of our data solutions with other enterprise systems.
- Guide and mentor a team of data engineers and domain data architects to ensure the development and maintenance of high-quality data solutions, utilizing strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and mentoring skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related field.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Highly motivated to work in an open team environment, employing a collaborative, continuous improvement, and innovation mindset.
STAND OUT WITH...
- Demonstrated experience leading the development of large-scale data solutions that meet the needs of the business and align with corporate objectives.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions and implementations, such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
- Good understanding of Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
