Description
We are looking for an ATV Accessories Development Engineer to report to the ATV Accessories Development Project Manager. In this role, you will be directly linked to the success of the company through innovation and continuous improvement of its products. You will have excellent opportunities for professional development within a constantly growing company.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Develop accessories on current and future ATV vehicles,
- Influence the vision that guides the integration of accessories on new platforms to come;
- Collaborate with design, marketing, purchasing, quality assurance, vehicle group, and suppliers in the various stages of the product development process;
- Participate in the establishment of performance criteria, validation plans for each accessory and ensure their execution;
- Test prototypes in real conditions of use;
- Conduct studies, analyses and calculations in order to guide, using general and specific technical parameters, design technicians and project developers in their work.
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is member of the OIQ;
- You are fluent in English and French (written and spoken). English is required to communicate with internal and external involved in product development;
- You are able to use the principles of mechanics, tolerancing and strength of materials;
- You know how to implement predictive calculation tools;
- You have recognized project management skills;
- You are available for occasional trips within our various manufacturing sites and test centers;
