Functional Analyst, SAP IBP/APO

We are looking for a functional analyst to be part of the SAP S4 Centre of Expertise (CoE) organization at BRP. This group consists of both business process and technical experts across multiple domains, which provide support and continuous improvement to enable the business and wider organization to achieve its goals and future growth objectives. We are looking for smart, independent, and motivated individuals who are excited to be part of this dynamic team.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Provide knowledge to SAP IBP modules and business functions to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions.
  • Develop relationships with key business users to drive the effectiveness of SAP solutions.
  • Support the business and PMO in demand management and project prioritization.
  • Participate in the elaboration of projects/implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with Application Management Services (AMS) teams and other partners, and participate in continuous improvement, projects and application maintenance activities.
  • Participate in relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including design, configuration, testing and implementation.
  • Provide technical support to project delivery and continuous improvement work.
  • Develop and provide standards and best practices to support teams for project delivery and application maintenance.
  • Confirm that technical specifications match business requirements. Supervise and guide key resources for development and testing phases.
  • Develop functional and design specifications.
  • Support peer review of design standards and specifications.
  • Acquire knowledge of emerging functionality/solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within businesses, where appropriate.
  • Assist with the resolution of complex application support and maintenance issues, where relevant.
  • Govern transition and handoff from the project delivery team to the application support team.
  • Contribute to decisions on product, tool, and method selection, providing input on industry trends.
  • Support the business and SAP business advisers/partners.
  • Support organizational change management functions in the development and delivery of end-user training, change impact assessments and job aids.
  • Suggest improvements for solutions maintenance/operation.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A university degree or equivalent (MBA preferred).
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a supply chain environment (IBP or APO preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of integrated business planning, demand planning, sales and operation planning, inventory optimization or supply planning processes.
  • A demonstrated capability to analyze business and technical requirements, and develop solutions to address requirements.
  • The ability to constantly adapt and perform in ever-evolving environments and business realities.
  • The ability to perform an active role in internal and external brainstorming and management meetings to bring our technical solutions to the next level.
  • A dynamic, innovative and problem resolution focus with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work in French and English (written and oral).

ASSETS:

  • Subject matter expertise in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning, Sales and Operation or Supply Planning processes, preferably with at least 1 end-to-end implementation experience in a client facing role.
  • The ability to perform complex SCM tasks and mentor or train others in the configuration management effort.
  • Experience working with third-party integrations.
  • Experience with international and large-scale projects.
