Description
The global retail experience team has an opportunity for a retail marketing and communications specialist to support the omnichannel experience and apparel business unit. The retail experience team ensures our global network provides an outstanding customer experience through a consistent look and feel by leveraging our in-store elements and the latest in-store digital tools. The purpose of the role will be to ensure alignment with the brand marketing and retail operations team, shape the retail experience marketing strategy, and help document, communicate, and educate our internal and external stakeholders.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Influence the future of retail and go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure inter-department alignment and cross-functional transfer of knowledge.
- Establish the point-of-purchase messaging and marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with peers, develop dealer education material surrounding the consumer experience, and retail and merchandising best practices.
- Oversee GRE participation in the BRP Club.
- Establish the communications strategy and oversee execution (internal and external).
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Strong communication and copywriting skills.
- The ability to influence and engage others.
- The ability to see projects through from vision to delivery autonomously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop others professionally.
- The ability to build a compelling story to support the importance of a strong retail strategy.
- The ability to transform information and data into storytelling opportunities.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- The ability to accommodate, on occasion, flexible hours to support the global region.
- A university degree in business, communications or the arts.
- A proven track record of project coordination, sales and/or brand implementation.
- Marketing or communication experience (at least 5 years).
- The ability to lead team members.
- Powersports, automotive or retail industry experience preferred.
- Bilingualism is required (EN/FR).
