Logistics Engineer

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer to support our New Product Development journey. This role will help us to define future logistics strategies in our global manufacturing group. As part of this role, you'll significantly contribute to our continued logistics evolution by developing business cases to leverage new and exciting technologies as well as identifying novel packaging solutions.

 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
 

  • Collaborate with our teams at manufacturing sites and project teams to define the best logistics strategies dedicated to production and support our growing plan.

  • Develop logistics strategies in line with the company's vision and implement forward-thinking methods aimed at continuous improvement of logistics processes including the management of our packaging requirements.

  • Identify and analyze budgetary requirements of projects, prepare the necessary documentation to obtain them and follow through on project success.

  • Perform analysis aimed at optimizing costs related to the transportation of parts, packaging, inventory management, logistics labor and our storage capacity.

  • Being on the pulse of technological and strategic industry best practices.

  • Build and maintain a network of external partners to introduce new concepts to BRP.
     

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations/Logistics Management or Business Administration with a specialization in Operations or Logistics. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant and significant experience (in product development, supply chain management and/or manufacturing operations).

  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and/or logistics (warehousing & transportation).

  • Knowledge of SAP WM. 

  • Available to travel internationally ~25%.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English to collaborate with key stakeholders outside of Quebec.
