Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer, reporting to the Systems and Technology Manager, to assist us in designing solutions for manufacturing operations. In this role, you will have a major impact on large-scale projects involving multiple vehicle assembly plants.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop and deploy software solutions to meet manufacturing needs.
Participate in architectural decisions and technological orientations.
Define technical specifications for solutions.
Support manufacturing operations and participate in continuous improvement.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or another relevant degree.
7 or more years of experience in object-oriented programming (Java, .NET, C#).
Experience working in Agile and Devops environments.
Functional bilingualism in French and English. Knowledge of English is a must, as the candidate will be interacting on a weekly basis with internal and external international stakeholders.
Experience in a manufacturing setting would be an asset.
Interest in team management would be an asset.
