Team Lead System & Technology Transformation

As part of the Global Manufacturing Systems, Technology and Quality strategy group, you will be responsible for leading system projects deployment for the entire supply chain of the various manufacturing sites of BRP. This must be achieved by linking your business and functional unit to Powersport, Marine & Megatech groups.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Team leadership: Lead cross functional projects team & deploy new systems & solutions in all BRP manufacturing sites (Canada, United States, Mexico and Finland) for 6 product lines. The main sectors targeted are: raw materials and production planning, procurement, transport logistics, internal handling, manufacturing operations and finished product inventory management.
  • Strategic planning: Define the Targeted Operating Model and share the vision with the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization through workshops & Lean methodology and cost reduction within the logistics and supply chain functions. Implement new processes and tools to assure robustness of the process execution and the logistic operations.
  • Resource management & process improvement: Guide your team to ensure the achievement of manufacturing capabilities that will transform all processes in your business sector. You will be leading a team of 4 professionals (system specialist and 3 business analysts.
  • Project management: Structure the project and develop a master plan in collaboration with the project management. Assure projects implantation per timeline by supporting all project phases (business case, project approval, build, tests, implementation, execution & hypercare). Starting with FY25 projects already identifies such as RTTVP (Real time transportation visibility planning), T&T (Track & trace), YMS (Yard management systems) and TMS (Transport management systems). Also supporting other projects for SAP ECC and it’s ecosystems as well as Marine & Megatech.
  • Change management: Collaborate with the change management department to ensure a smooth transition of processes.
  • Communication: Ensure governance in order to provide regular updates on project status, achieve deadlines, costs and the established mandate. Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders and senior management.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and report financial status to senior management. Define Business case to justify projects when required
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, supply chain operations, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support to operations: Support operations for everything related to systems and execute problem solving & root cause analysis on processes, systems and tools with the users and other stakeholders when required.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or any other discipline applicable to the position (management, IT, etc.).
  • Have solid experience in project management using various project delivery methods (waterfall, agile, etc.)
  • Mastery of the following IT platforms is an asset: “ERP” (SAP S/4 Hana); “TMS” (SAP Transportation Management); “EWM” Enterprise Warehouse Management; “MES” Manufacturing Execution System.
  • Have inspiring and motivating leadership with good prioritization skills.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French. (While having a good capacity for synthesis for complex subjects). Mastering english is necessary as the person in this role will support the deployment of systems in our various manufacturing sites (Canada, Finland, Mexico, US...)
  • Promote team spirit and collaboration in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
  • Possess the ability to solve problems, analyze and process information.
  • Have a go-getter, excellent influence and persuasion skills and the ability to bring about change with a long-term vision
  • Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in relevant fields while having a good knowledge of business processes.
  • Availability to travel occasionally.
