Team Leader, Accessories Procurement Developement

We are seeking a Team Leader, Accessory Development Purchasing, who is eager to take on exciting challenges and be part of a very dynamic team. You will contribute to the expansion of one of BRP's important growth areas.
 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:  
 

  • Supervise and support the development of buyers under his or her direction.

  • Be the first point of contact for buyers with respect to operational questions.

  • Mentor and provide training to new buyers joining the team.

  • Influence the team by playing a role in standardizing processes and promoting continuous improvement.

  • Ensure that NPD process deliverables are thoroughly understood by the purchasing team.

  • Coordinate daily activities with buyers.

  • Support the team in achieving the Time - Quality - Cost objectives set by the service and follow up on performance indicators.

  • Ensure that the purchasing team has access to the best work tools.

  • Ensure the maintenance of a collaborative work environment.
     

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:   
 

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other related field.

  • 5 years of experience in supply management.

  • Relevant experience in personnel management.

  • Bilingualism in both spoken and written communication is essential (French and English): the person must communicate with internal and external stakeholders, either outside Quebec or who are unilingual English speakers, on a daily basis.

  • Demonstrated leadership, a focus on teamwork, and excellent communication skills.

  • Very good influencing and mobilization skills.

  • Versatility, self-reliance, meticulousness, and strong analytical skills.
