We are seeking a Team Leader, Accessory Development Purchasing, who is eager to take on exciting challenges and be part of a very dynamic team. You will contribute to the expansion of one of BRP's important growth areas.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Supervise and support the development of buyers under his or her direction.
Be the first point of contact for buyers with respect to operational questions.
Mentor and provide training to new buyers joining the team.
Influence the team by playing a role in standardizing processes and promoting continuous improvement.
Ensure that NPD process deliverables are thoroughly understood by the purchasing team.
Coordinate daily activities with buyers.
Support the team in achieving the Time - Quality - Cost objectives set by the service and follow up on performance indicators.
Ensure that the purchasing team has access to the best work tools.
Ensure the maintenance of a collaborative work environment.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other related field.
5 years of experience in supply management.
Relevant experience in personnel management.
Bilingualism in both spoken and written communication is essential (French and English): the person must communicate with internal and external stakeholders, either outside Quebec or who are unilingual English speakers, on a daily basis.
Demonstrated leadership, a focus on teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
Very good influencing and mobilization skills.
Versatility, self-reliance, meticulousness, and strong analytical skills.
