Warranty System Administrator

The role of the warranty system administrator is to deliver advanced warranty solutions, support operations, and ensure seamless warranty system management. We are looking for an experienced system administrator with expertise in Salesforce and SAP warranty systems to manage system configurations, develop warranty campaigns, and provide support for warranty operations and administration.
 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
 

Warranty system configuration and management:
 

  • Set up and maintain warranty rules, policies, and configurations within Salesforce and SAP warranty systems.

  • Develop and modify warranty campaigns, ensuring they meet BRP’s policies and align with business goals.

  • Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and functionality of warranty systems across different platforms.

Subject matter expertise and business partner support:
 

  • Serve as an SME for warranty systems and warranty data, providing guidance and support to business partners on system functionalities, configurations, and best practices.

  • Offer operational support to warranty operations teams, assisting with complex troubleshooting and usage questions.

  • Act as a point of contact for global deployment projects, providing expertise during the explore, build, data transfer, and deployment phases in new regions.

Warranty system deployment and expansion:
 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess warranty system requirements for regional expansions and new market deployments.

  • Support the explore, build, and testing phases of deployments, coordinating data transfer and system readiness.

  • Provide training and ongoing support for regional teams on the use of warranty systems post-deployment.

System testing and issue resolution:
 

  • Partner with IT and warranty operations teams to identify and resolve system glitches, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

  • Participate in system testing for bug fixes, product enhancements, and system updates, thoroughly documenting issues and validating solutions.

  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance usability, efficiency, and accuracy.

Data analysis and reporting:
 

  • Develop and maintain robust reporting tools to support warranty operations, providing insights into claim trends, system usage, and policy compliance.

  • Perform ad hoc analyses on warranty data as requested by management or business partners.

  • Provide warranty data analytics for key stakeholders, summarizing findings to inform strategic decisions.

Support for warranty audits:

 

  • Assist in warranty audits by retrieving relevant system data, generating reports, and supporting audit procedures as required.

  • Work with warranty auditors to identify compliance issues and contribute to process improvement initiatives based on audit findings.

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of warranty records and system configurations to support transparent and effective audit processes.


YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 
 

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in warranty system administration or support, with knowledge of Salesforce and SAP warranty modules.

  • Prior experience supporting warranty systems in the automotive, powersports, or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and SAP warranty systems, including setup, configuration, and reporting capabilities.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, create, and maintain detailed reports and dashboards.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with an eye for identifying system issues and working collaboratively to resolve them.

  • Experience with IT processes, including identification, reporting, testing and deployment of solutions and system upgrades.

  • Familiarity with data transfer processes.

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with business partners, IT teams, and external vendors.

  • May occasionally require travel to support on-site warranty system deployments or training sessions.
