THE ROLEAs a Bar Supervisor, you will contribute to an excellent customer experience in the military messes. You will organize, supervise and schedule the day-to-day bar activities for the bar staff for big events and the everyday moments. You will build a rapport with the military community and be part of various military traditions.
The Bar Supervisor will provide administrative support to bar operations and a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, maintaining inventory of bar stock and ordering supplies and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system; prepare reports on cash/inventory transactions such as daily sales reports (DSR) and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Food Management, or related field and some years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage service
(OR High school diploma and several years of experience in beverage sector or a related field)
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (BC)
Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (BC)
Food Handling Certification, as required
Valid Driver’s Licence, an asset
