SISIP FINANCIAL

THE ROLE

The Business Data and Information Management Specialist plays a vital role in supporting SISIP Financial employees by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of business data across key information systems. This individual is key in guiding the organization through its digital transformation by enhancing data literacy and promoting best practices for data use and management. By managing critical business data, collaborating with stakeholders to develop best practices for data quality, and developing training programs to guide the effective use of our key information systems, the specialist has a daily impact on the lives of users. This role will be instrumental to ensuring reliable and high-quality data that supports effective decision-making and enhances overall user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field AND many years of experience in business analysis, process management, and customer data analysis or a related field

Experience

In data management, quality, and literacy programs

In providing strategic advice regarding data management

In planning and coordinating data quality initiatives

In developing and ensuring compliance with data governance policies and practices

In profiling, validating and cleansing data

In identifying training requirements, designing and coordinating training programs/solutions

In delivering workshops

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and maintain business domain data to ensure accuracy and consistency across key information systems.

Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality with enterprise standards.

Provide advice and guidance to senior management on data governance.

Provide advice and consultation regarding employee matters; work in collaboration with department managers conducting workplace investigations, as required.

Recommend changes to policy, standards and procedures to keep up with evolutions of technology.

Start Date: April 21, 2025

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

Salary plus Employee Performance Plan.
